A cake smash is so much more than a first birthday photo session —it's an experience
Around 12 months is a time of incredible development. Squishing cake between tiny fingers, using a spoon to dig through the cake, all makes for a wonderfully messy sensory activity encouraging sensory exploration, fine motor skills and self-feeding confidence.
and the best part... you can both enjoy the experience without stressing about cleaning it up!
You can also choose to finish the session with the kids bath, towels are provided.
To ensure your little one's cake is perfect for their dietary needs, allergies and preferences, families are asked to bring their own cake to the session. I can recommend some simple, budget-friendly cake options from your local Woolworths or Coles, or if you're after something a little more personalised, I'm also happy to recommend a few fantastic local cake makers. When should I book?
It's best to book your session for roughly2-4 weeks before the Birthday or Milestone to allow time for me to edit and for you to make your image selections.
I can occasionally take last minute bookings and still get your gallery to you in time, but it depends on my schedule. If you are looking to book within the same week you need the images, please confirm availability with me prior to booking.
